Instaglasses Enable You To View The World In A Filtered Reality

As the Internet becomes a broader playground for photographers, it is only natural that the technology to share pictures gets an overhaul as well, right? There are so many picture sharing social networking services out there now that listing them all would be virtually impossible. As the technology of these sites get more advanced, it of course means that there will be some new and awesome gadgets for people to use that are customized for these particular services. I don’t know if there are any “real” ones out there yet that only cater to these services, but I know there have been some quite funny concept designs published.

One such thing was of course the Instagram Camera that we featured here on Bit Rebels not too long ago. It was one of those really cool ones that totally made sense. Too bad it was just a concept design created to make people start thinking in those kind of patterns. Now there is also the Instaglasses. Yup, it’s a pair of glasses that incorporates the filters found on Instagram to filter your reality just the way you want it.

This really genius concept design was created by Markus Gerke, and I am sure it will appeal to a lot of people. The glasses themselves are as retro as they can possibly be, and I think Instagram has gotten the publicity now to really pull off these kind of glasses (as a fashion accessory that is). I still doubt the technology is there to incorporate these kind of features into a pair of glasses, but that shouldn’t keep people from trying, right? It would totally be the gift of the year for dedicated Instagrammers and photographers. Bring it on! I am ready to filter my reality! Are you?
