iPad 2 vs. The Competition: Specs Compared [Infographic]

So the time has finally come. The iPad 2 will certainly be a hot product in the tablet market. Of course, the competitors are already making all kinds of accusations about them being the first on the market with certain features and so forth.  But, as usual, it boils down to the hard-edged truth: Put your money where your mouth is.  I had the opportunity to be blessed with an iPad in the very early stages of its release.  After using it for less than a day, I knew this was a great productivity tool for me when working on Bit Rebels with my colleagues.  It has all the features you could ever want when blogging and writing articles, as well as when trying to run a popular blog together with someone on the other side of the world.

What are the upgrades from the first incarnation of the iPad to the iPad 2?  You can probably find that out just by watching the highly suggested keynote that Steve Jobs held a few days ago.  However, if you don’t want to spend an hour and a half on his ramblings about why the iPad 2 is “cool,” “awesome” and “magical,” then you can simply check out this really useful infographic created by Geeks Are Sexy.

Instead of listening to Apple fanboys about how great the new iPad 2 is, you can simply look through this chart of specs and make up your own mind.  It is always best to check out, compare and make these decisions based on the needs and requirements that you set for yourself.  One of the first questions you should ask yourself is, “What are you going to use the tablet for?”  After that comes the task of finding the tablet that suits your needs best.  It’s simple, straight forward and uncomplicated.
