Liquipel Will Make Your Gadgets Completely Waterproof

I think we have all been there at some point. Whenever we walk outside in the rain, we constantly think about what would happen to our new iPhone if it got wet. Maybe not constantly, but the thought has probably hit us at some point. At least I have wondered if there is any way to protect it from water without having to encapsulate it in some bulky case. It’s not like I am going to go swimming with the thing anytime soon, but it would be great if there was a solution if I drop it in water at some point. We see a tons of tutorials about how to dry up our gear with rice and whatnot, but I haven’t seen a solution that will keep it absolutely dry no matter what.

That is, until now. Today I found myself staring the solution in the face, and it is a really good one. It is called Liquipel and is basically a nano vapor that will waterproof your iPhone on a molecular level. This means there will be no visual alterations to your iPhone whatsoever. There will be no casing, no rubber coating or anything. It’s just there without you even knowing it. A demo of a Liquipel coated iPhone showed the phone being dropped into a glass bowl of water, and it continued working. The person even pushed the buttons, and the phone seemed to have no evidence of any damage at all.

The coating is so small that it gets into everything, inside and out. This means not only is your phone waterproof on the outside, but also on the inside where all the vital components of your phone reside. This could potentially be a huge breakthrough in waterproof technology, and with the gel patent in pending, we could soon be seeing this used on every conceivable gadget we can think of. The price is really reasonable as well. For only $59, you can get your iPhone completely waterproofed. It’s a great price to make sure your phone (or whatever gadget you want to waterproof) will never succumb to water.
