Phocus Case Allows DSLR Lenses To Be Used With Your iPhone

Diana and I quite often talk about how to best take photos with the iPhone camera. It is a common perception that the better the camera is, the better the pictures will be when you take them. That is true to a certain extent, but there is one factor that is significantly more important than the quality and the megapixels of the camera you use. It’s the light itself. If you don’t have sufficient lighting when you take your pictures, the camera will have a hard time capturing what it is that you are trying to photograph. That’s when you will start getting those blurry and grainy images that everyone hates and blames their camera for. So next time you take a photo, make sure you have good lighting around you, and your pictures will come out all crisp.

When it comes to the quality of the photo itself, namely the depth of it, it might be a little bit harder to get good results with the iPhone camera. It’s because the iPhone camera doesn’t really have any kind of depth of field. This basically means that whatever you shoot will be clear in the image, and you can’t really put attention on a specific object in the picture by blurring out what is not important with an optical zooming lens for example.

Well, that is until now. There is a new iPhone case called the Phocus Case that will enable you to use your DSLR camera lenses with your iPhone. Yup, that is right, and it’s pretty damn neat if you ask me. It won’t be cheap though. The case alone will set you back between $99.95 and $134.95 depending on whether or not you want two or three extra lenses shipped with the case itself. If you want additional adapters for your Canon or Nikon lenses, you will have to cough up another $220 or $245. Being a professional has never been cheap, so don’t bother complaining. These are supposedly super good, and they could take your iPhone photography to heights you never thought possible.
