For the longest time, printing from a computer was limited to black and white only. When the color printer was released, everyone was fascinated by the process and color printers became popular almost overnight. Now printing has evolved beyond black and white and even color. It is now possible to print in the third dimension.
Currently, this technology is mostly being used to create prototypes in the industrial design, architecture, automotive, aerospace, dental and medical industries. However, as with most technology like this, I’m sure it will find its way into mainstream offices around the world soon enough.
