When the weekend comes, many people look forward to some relaxation and recreation time, but that’s far from everyone. There are actually people who kick it up a notch when the weekend comes, and they create the most incredible custom builds. It could be whatever really, just as long as they get to do what they love to do. One of those people is imgur user mysterysmellyfeet who took on a project that resulted in one of the most epic Nintendo themed arcade cabinet creations I have ever seen.
When you come across dedicated and creative people like this, you can’t help but awe over their ability to make reality out of their ideas. There are plenty of ways to retrofy things in your everyday life, but when it comes to Nintendo, this has to be one of the more creative approaches. Imagine being able to play all your favorite Nintendo games (even though Nintendo recently released their worst game ever) on a life-size arcade cabinet. Now, if that arcade cabinet won’t push the retro feeling directly into the core of your entire existence, I honestly don’t know what will.
The end result of this retro arcade cabinet project looks nothing less than pristine. It almost looks like it’s actually an official Nintendo themed arcade cabinet that was just lost in time and now found for everyone to enjoy. I doubt the creator, mysterysmellyfeet, will allow more than friends to play on it, much less buy it, so I guess you will just have to look at these pictures and drool since that is probably the closest you will ever get to this badboy.
The fact that it only took the creator a weekend (rumored) to pull this Nintendo themed arcade cabinet together is a feat worthy of anyone’s time when it comes to checking it out. I mean, most people don’t even have the time to get their exercise in during the weekend, right?
