Skew: First iPhone iOS 7 Made Out Of Cardboard & Wood

When creative people get their juices flowing there is no telling what will come out of it. It is a mind-blowing process that sometimes yields things that we could only dream of. We have all seen the spectacular and innovative iPhone concepts that usually spring up before Apple’s keynotes. There are now also several new iPhone iOS concepts floating around. Few, however, come close to this geeky cardboard and wooden iPhone iOS 7 concept.

When the new iOS 7 was introduced it came with mixed reviews. Some people loved it while others hated it and reverted back to the previous iOS. When it comes to innovation, the most innovative addition to the iPhone 5S is probably the fingerprint sensor. I have to say that when it comes to geeky concepts then Skew is probably my favorite of all time. It is one of those quirky things that only a geek could come up with and actually execute perfectly.

So what is Skew and why is it so geeky? Well, you shouldn’t get your hopes up too high thinking it’s an alternative to your iPhone iOS 7. It is more of a parody, a creative outlet from someone that knows how to really draw the viewer in. It is a remake of the iPhone iOS 7 just using cardboard and wood. Yup, that’s right it is one of those really interesting videos that does not have any other purpose other than to flip things up a bit.

I doubt that you will be able to customize your iPhone iOS 7, or any other future iOS version for that matter, anytime soon. It’s a bit boring actually if you ask me. I feel as a user you should be able to change up the themes and features a little bit to make the experience a bit more angled towards how you want it. The same size fits all mindset is getting old and quite boring. This Skew iPhone iOS 7 creation is definitely something that I would like to try on my iPhone. Too bad I never will though – Concept by Doug Hindson.
