Bit Rebels Publisher Verification

Bit Rebels Publisher Verification is an optional verification feature operated by Bit Rebels for approved publishers who participate in our publisher and placement services.

The purpose of this feature is to help publishers verify that they have access to the websites they submit and, when available, provide verified website performance data from Google Search Console and Google Analytics.

How It Works

Approved publishers may choose to connect their Google Search Console and Google Analytics accounts through Google OAuth. When a publisher connects, Bit Rebels requests read-only access to Google Search Console and Google Analytics data for the websites and properties connected to that Google account.

This access is used to:

  • Verify that the publisher has access to the submitted website.
  • Confirm that the website is connected to Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
  • Retrieve website performance metrics such as clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, users, sessions, and page views.
  • Display verified marketplace metrics for approved publisher websites.
  • Improve trust, transparency, and listing quality for clients reviewing available websites.

What We Access

Bit Rebels Publisher Verification may access read-only Google Search Console and Google Analytics information, including:

  • Search Console properties available to the connected Google account.
  • Google Analytics properties available to the connected Google account.
  • Website verification status.
  • Search performance metrics, such as clicks, impressions, click-through rate, and average position.
  • Website traffic metrics, such as users, sessions, page views, and other read-only analytics data available through the Google Analytics API.

What We Do Not Do

Bit Rebels does not use this connection to make changes to your website, your Google Search Console account, or your Google Analytics account.

We do not:

  • Modify your website.
  • Change Search Console settings.
  • Change Google Analytics settings.
  • Add or remove users.
  • Submit sitemaps.
  • Change indexing settings.
  • Modify Analytics properties or reporting configuration.
  • Sell Google user data.
  • Use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, or unrelated marketing.

Optional Use

Google Search Console and Google Analytics verification are optional. Publishers can continue to use Bit Rebels services without connecting these Google services, although verified websites may display additional verified metrics that can help improve trust and transparency.

Revoking Access

Publishers may revoke Bit Rebels Publisher Verification access at any time from their Google Account permissions page:

After access is revoked, Bit Rebels will no longer be able to retrieve updated Google Search Console or Google Analytics data for that publisher’s websites.
