The Internet community seems to love it when creative artists redesign their favorite Disney princesses, and it seems a new style surfaces almost every week. We’ve written about many of those designs here on Bit Rebels, and you can see all of them here. This is definitely a new perspective though, and I haven’t seen anything like it before.
You may have noticed that we’re big fans of steampunk. However, when I think of steampunk, I think of gizmos and gadgets getting a Victorian makeover, not the Disney princesses we all grew up with getting steampunkized. These designs are a lot of fun, and they definitely add some sassy spunk to the usual Disney style.
It took deviantARTist HelleeTitch an entire year to complete these, and as you can see, it was well worth the wait. Here is the crazy part; I only featured her 9 steampunk Disney princess in this post. She didn’t just create these, and as a matter of fact, she went a little nuts with this collection. She steampunked dozens of Disney characters, and if you visit her Steampunk Disney Gallery, you’ll find characters from Aladdin, Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Hercules, Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Pocahontas, Sleeping Beauty, Tarzan, 101 Dalmatians and many, many more. Wow, now that is impressive!
