When I think of aerial photography, the only name that really comes to my mind is Cameron Davidson. When you see the examples of his photography below, you’ll immediately understand why his client roster reads like a media who’s who list.
These are especially some of my favorite shots because they highlight living in the city. I grew up in a “poke and plum” town. In case you don’t know what that is, it means the town is so small that you poke your head out the window and you’re plum out of town! I never got a real taste of a big city until later in life.
When I visited Atlanta for the first time, I stood outside in the middle of downtown at night and looked up at all the lights. I knew then that I would live there one day. About two years later, I moved to Atlanta. There is just something magical about living in a big city, and I love it. These photographs were obviously not taken in Atlanta; however, they capture the beauty and stunning nighttime visuals that you can only get in a big city. These make me fall in love with the skyscrapers, the lights and all the hopes and dreams that they represent all over again. Thank you Cameron!
