Stunning Papercraft That Goes Far Beyond Intricate Folds

In a previous article, I went on about some handcrafted shattered CDs turned into amazing lifelike animals. The artwork was stunningly beautiful, and I guess you could just imagine it glistening in the sun when you moved it around to check it from different angles. That artwork truly made an impact on me that day, not only because of the beautiful execution, but also because of the amount of time it must have taken to put it all together. Things like that, when there is insane dedication behind it, usually inspire me enormously. That’s why I set out to write this article, in hopes that it will inspire you as much as it did me. The dedication behind these things is just mind boggling.

The artwork from artists Zim and Zou is certainly something out of this world. It has been said a lot of times before, but when dedication meets the creativity of a genius mind, that’s when you really have to find the time to write about it and make sure it gets seen. Zim and Zou have put together some of the most intricate papercraft animals you could ever imagine and called it Cabinet of Curiosities. They are not only intricate but also mighty colorful.

Their animal kingdom resembles something out of a fable, imaginary and magical in every way. It’s easy to see just why these guys kept putting them together since they are quite inspiring to look at. The craftsmanship is truly amazing. I could go on and rave about this all day, but I guess it truly comes down to what you think yourself. One thing is for sure though, and that is that these creations certainly didn’t take a day to put together. Next time you face something that seems impossible or daunting, think about these guys and what they have managed to put together and that design of yours could feel a little bit more easy to accomplish. Creativity is dedication, there is no getting around it.
