If you live in a big city like me, then you’ve been there a million times. You start driving somewhere that should take fifteen minutes, but then you hit the all too familiar sea of brake lights, only to find you are stop and go for the next hour or two while you sit in an annoying traffic jam.
What if you are stuck on I-20, and you have to pee really, really bad? What do you do? It’s a completely legit question. Since I have a hamster bladder, it’s happened to me more times than I can count. I’m not going to lie, I’ve been known to screech into a McDonald’s parking lot and run into the bathroom. My question is, is there an easier way?
Taiwanese entrepreneur, Lian Shin, had the same experience and decided to do something about it. He invented a portable toilet to keep in the car. Called the “Joylet,” this thing will supposedly bring you much joy since now you’ll be able to take care of business right there in your car while you comfortably sit in that traffic jam. Personally, I think this is one of the most ridiculous inventions I’ve ever seen, and the “Price is Right” looking models in this video make it even more comical. However, I have a feeling that the next time I have to pee really bad, and I’m on the Interstate, completely stopped, in a horrific Atlanta traffic jam, I will wish I had one of these!
