Feeling adventurous? Take a trip to France to enjoy one of the biggest motorsport events of the year. Hear the engines roar as over 40 race cars hurtle around corners wheel-to-wheel in the hopes of taking home the cup. End your afternoon off with a traditional barbecue while the revs of engines add to the exhilarating atmosphere. A must for any race car enthusiast!

2. Royal Ascot
Probably the most elite horse racing event of the year, the Royal Ascot has been around since the 19th century, Ascot is always the place to be in the UK if you want to rub shoulders with royalty and the famous. 4. Notting Hill Carnival
If sport is simply not your thing, don’t fret, Britain has enough fun events coming up to cater to all tastes, like the Notting Hill Carnival, for instance.
