“I started as a student pilot and slowly ventured into modeling, even participating in pageants,” Yashi recalls. Her breakthrough moment came when she walked at Miami Swim Week, giving it her all. That one opportunity opened doors to other high-profile events, such as Fort Lauderdale Fashion Week. She’s preparing for her most significant milestone yet: walking the runway at New York Fashion Week this September.

Yashi’s competitive drive has also shone in pageantry. She currently holds the titles of Miss Grand Lakeland and Miss Asian Global Third Princess 2024—achievements that reflect her determination and ability to excel in any arena she enters.

“It has been challenging for me, being in a different country and trying to balance studying and competing,” she says. “At times, it felt lonely, but I’m grateful for the friends I’ve made. They’ve been an incredible support system.”

Managing finances has also been a significant hurdle. The pressure has been immense between school, pageant fees, and travel expenses. But Yashi’s resilience has kept her moving forward. “It’s been draining, but I haven’t given up yet,” she adds.

“I believe I’m a versatile professional,” she says. “In addition to modeling, I have a fashion design and MMA background, and I’m currently training to become a pilot. I love bringing movement and energy into my work—it’s my way of combining my passions.”

Her ability to innovate and push boundaries has earned her recognition as a model and a creative force in the industry. Yashi’s journey is a testament to the power of pursuing what makes you unique.

“My mother, who served in the army, has been my greatest mentor. She taught me the importance of perseverance, discipline, and hard work,” she says. “Her guidance has been the foundation of everything I do.”

Yashi also credits her friends, followers, and pageant sisters for their unwavering encouragement. “The feedback and trust I’ve received from my community have motivated me to keep improving and innovating. And my pageant sisters—they’ve been like family, always there to support me through challenges and celebrate every success together.”
