Leave it to Apple to figure out a way to create lifelong customers from the moment a toddler picks up one of these little Apple Store playsets. This looks like so much fun; I want to order one for myself. I guess it’s not enough that I have a MacBook Pro, iMac, iPod, iPad and iPhone. I really don’t need this too, but when has needing something ever been a reason to buy an Apple product? We buy them because we want them, and we have to have them. Simple as that.
This Playmobil Apple Store Playset comes with over 60 accessories, including Apple Store employees, genius bar goodies, and a Steve Jobs figure. There is even a little twist… if you look closely; you’ll see that you can use your real iPhone 4 as the screen behind Steven Jobs in the Keynote Theater. And even though this isn’t shiny and sleek, it’s still an officially licensed Apple product.
Like most of Apple’s creations, this is a little pricey. Looks like the kiddies will have to pay to play too. It’s $180 bucks, but look on the bright side… once you buy this, after tax, you can add another two hundred big ones to the amount of money you’ve already paid Apple. Oh wait, that’s not a bright side. I don’t care. I want one anyway! Those tiny iPads are just so darn cute. You can pick up your very own Apple Store playset at Think Geek. (Oh wait a minute, it’s not April 1st anymore? Yes, we know this was an April Fool’s joke by Think Geek, but it is sooo brilliant, and I still want one!)
