I found this today on Pinterest, and it’s such a great idea! It comes from Beckie at Infarrantly Creative. I never knew before today that tattoo printer paper existed. What a brilliant invention. Also, this little machine called the Silhouette is super sweet too. It’s a design cutting tool that you plug into your PC or Mac via USB, and it cuts your creations into all different kinds of materials.
You can use this machine to easily make some extravagant looking projects. You can cut designs into your own brochures, postcards, glass, stencils, fabric, vinyl, or in this case, temporary tattoos. You can buy this machine on Silhouette for $300. I know, it’s pricey. But if you do a lot of at home projects, it might be worth it.
Okay, back to these tattoos. We all know that little kids get lost in crowds sometimes. Unless you are going to put a leash on your child, which some people do, there is always that fear in the back of your mind that somehow he or she might get separated from you. I know what it feels like to worry about that. If god forbid that happens, wouldn’t it be nice to know that your contact information is on your child’s body for another adult to see?
You have two ways to do this. You can either do what I’d probably do and bust out with the black sharpie, or you can make a cute little tattoo that your child would be proud to wear. You don’t have to just put a phone number on it either. You could put food allergies, emergency information or anything you want really. You might even be able to check with some places that do online brochure printing to see if you can order these. I think it’s a fantastic idea!
