The Ultimate DIY Star Wars R2-D2 Bra (Complete With Bleeps & Lights)

As I have written many times before, R2 is my all time favorite character from Star Wars. He’s so special, and when I was a little girl, I wished I could have an R2-D2 pet. To this day, the DIY Star Wars R2-D2 builds we have featured here on Bit Rebels are amongst my favorites, and this is another one that I’m proud to share with you. It’s a DIY R2-D2 bra which comes complete with light effects and plenty of noisy bleeps.

Although I wish the video below showed what it would look like on a real person, it’s still very fun to see it in action. It’s made from paper mache, and the lights and sounds come from a little R2-D2 toy figure that was hacked. You just press the top of R2’s dome (where the nipple would be) to activate the light and sound effects.

Just add a cute blue skirt, and you’ll be ready for a night out. This bra was conceived, designed and created by Instructables user seamster. On Instructables he wrote, “The best explanation I can give for this project is that I thought the idea was hilarious, and somebody needed to make it.”
