Fully Augmented Reality Glasses Merge All Things Virtual With Reality

I can honestly say that it’s not often that I come across something that thrills me so much as what I came across today. 3D printing, new holographic technologies and a whole bunch of other really exciting innovations come secondhand to the device that I personally think is going to change user interface forever. Imagine for a second that all of the movie gesture controlled user interfaces came true, well that’s what you will have when you get your hands on these new fully augmented reality glasses.

The company behind these augmented reality glasses is Meta, which is the same name as the glasses themselves. They have been able to merge the virtual dimension with reality in a way that no one else has previously done. The exciting part is that for the first time ever it really makes sense. These fully augmented reality glasses use a Kinect-like technology to allow gesture controls in mid-air, which will allow you to do anything within the virtual world while operating in your real world.

The Meta company is just about to finalize its first version of these augmented reality glasses so they can push them out to the consumers. As usual with new technology products, they want to invite all you hackers and developers out there to play around with it and see what kind of applications, user interfaces and innovations you can create with it. That’s when the really exciting stuff starts to happen. When people play around with new technologies combined with their limitless creativity, magical things happen.

The people behind these Meta augmented reality glasses are looking for funding in order to finalize the glasses, and they want raise just $100,000 to do so. Even more exciting is that with over 21 days left they have already managed to successful fund the Kickstarter project with almost $123,000. This means that if you pledge today, not only will you get your hands on a pair of these glasses when they are finalized and ready to be shipped, but you will also help further develop this concept into something that most of us have only dreamed about.

You will have to have a look at the video in order to fully comprehend the amazing and insane impact these augmented reality glasses could have on our everyday lives. Meta brings a new era of creative user interfaces which offers complete immersion.
