Snowflakes are awesome. They are one of nature’s little miracles. We all know that every snowflake is unique, but have you ever seen a snowflake under a microscope? It’s totally trippy, and you can check out some pictures of them at Snowflakes Under A Microscope. Paper snowflakes might not be as magical as real snowflakes, but there are still just as much fun. The other day I wrote about how to make Snowflakes Made From Junk Mail. However, as often happens in my life, my continuous discussion of snowflakes has now turned to Star Wars.
I read a few posts about Star Wars snowflakes a while back, and so did Anthony Herrera. He decided to take the concept one step further and make even more designs. He created Admiral Ackbar, Ahsoka Tano, C-3PO, Scout Troopers, Yoda, Boba Fett, Clone Troopers, Stormtroopers and Darth Vader snowflakes. To help you create these yourself, he even posted a diagram for each one (in PDF format) on Anthony Herrera Designs. This is such a fun, creative papercraft project.
Get your scissors and paper out, it’s time to start cutting! Anthony recommends using a very sharp x-acto knife for the inner details. Hmm… I have a feeling it’s best to do this project without a glass of wine in one hand.
