There’s just something about unicorns that makes us smile, right? Go ahead and say the word unicorn. You smiled, didn’t you? Well, maybe not, but it works on me. When I think of unicorns, I think of rainbow colored fantasies filled with visions of flying through the sky on the back of a winged white horse between colorful sugar-flavored cotton candy clouds and sunshine filled days that last forever. There’s nothing that screams happily ever after and never-ending true love like a unicorn does.
I’m convinced that John Tibbott, a designer living in the northwest of England, feels the same way. If not, how could he have created this Fairytale Transfusion?
Think about it. If God forbid something happened to you and you needed a blood transfusion, and if all they had at the hospital was unicorn blood (which is compatible with all blood types I’ve decided), what color do you think it would be? It would be rainbow colored of course. In reality, you (assuming you are human) would not be able to use this blood. Everyone knows that unicorn blood is only permitted to be used on Pegasus, Bigfoot, dragons, elves, dwarfs, gnomes, sprites, genies, fairies, other unicorns and a few more mythical beasts. Duh!
You can purchase a print of the blood bag on society6, or you can buy the t-shirt or hoodie on Threadless. If you want to keep the smile on your face, you might want to skip that last one.
