Famous Photographs From History Recreated In Lego

Two of our favorite topics to write about on Bit Rebels are Star Wars and Lego. We are inspired by both of them, and they never get old. That is probably because there are always creative new things out there to share with you. It just never ends, and that is of course thanks to all the Star Wars and Lego fans in the world.

If you have been reading Bit Rebels for a while, you probably know that Richard is really into statistics. Every time I talk to him, the conversation always works it way back around to Bit Rebels statistics. When he first started telling me about them back in 2009, I remember I used to roll my eyes and think it was boring, but now I love it, and I learn so much from all his statistic tracking. Just the other day he told me that out of our 4,948 published articles on Bit Rebels, 131 (after today, it will be 133) articles are about Star Wars. Wow! I wonder how many are about Lego. My guess is that it might even be a little more.

If you are new to this site, one thing we always point out is how Lego is not only the most inspiring and brain-twisting toy we know of, it is also just as much for adults as it is for children. Richard once said, “Give all the world leaders a box of Lego, and we might be able to achieve world peace.” If you check out these Lego figures with tattoos and these risqué Lego images, you’ll see what I mean about the adult side of Lego. This article is another example of that. Children would most likely not recognize these iconic photographs. However, as adults, we’ve seen these over and over throughout the years. Check out these same scenes recreated in Lego. The original Lego artist who created these (whose name I can’t seem to locate, I even tried Google Translate) did a fabulous job. I would be able to recognize most of these scenes just from the Lego image. Once again, Lego inspires me.
