It’s a happy sunshiny day here in Atlanta, and I couldn’t let it pass by without giving all my fellow foodies a fun, colorful dessert idea. Sometimes it seems like the best things in life are discovered by accident. Just like silly putty, post-it notes and the slinky, these sparkly rainbow marshmallow kabobs are the result of some other recipe gone wrong.
Meaghan Mountford, a writer and cookie decorator, has the cutest blog ever called The Decorated Cookie Blog. She recently made these cute marshmallow kabobs, which I think are perfect for spring. What a great complement to all the colorful Easter eggs and peeps that are so popular this time of year.
The best part about these is that there are only two steps. Just put glitter on your marshmallows, and add the sticks. You can buy lollipop or kabob sticks in the utensils section of almost any supermarket. Hmm… I think even I could handle making these. Meaghan offers illustrated directions (below) for anyone who is too lazy to read (you know who you are). Tis the season for rotting out our teeth with sugar. Nom Nom!
