As I kid I grew up with Batman and what a transformation from the old one to the new.  Batman (originally referred to as the Bat-Man or the Batman, and additionally as the “Caped Crusader” and the “Dark Knight”) is a fictional character, a comic book superhero co-created by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger (although only Kane receives official credit), appearing in publications by DC Comics. The character first appeared in Detective Comics #27 in May 1939. The picture you see is from the 1960’s TV series. If you look at the character today, the super hero is sleek, clean and very modern.
What is great about brands like Batman, even if the transformation was really drastic, it did not lose the character and the cape crusader’s image remains intact. Constant upgrading in design is important. I don’t think people would appreciate the old batman look if they watch the movie now.
