When I first saw these body technology interface designs, I thought, “Oh, this is just a geek version of a snuggie!” Just like the real snuggie, it is bizarre to look at yet intriguing and strangely useful, all at the same time.
Before you look at these photos and discount these designs as bonkers, think about what they were created to do. These knitted designs were made to help us interface with our technology better, and when you think of it from that perspective; you might consider wearing one of these wacky contraptions. According to http://sternlab.org, the purpose of these is to give you “privacy, warmth, and concentration in public spaces.”
I’m sure wearing these would insure you’d get teased by everyone you know, but a true geek won’t really care about that. Whether it’s a laptop sock, a camera cover or a mask, whatever covering you desire for your personal electronic devices, you’ll probably find it below.
These designs were introduced to me by @wadecreate and created by @bekathwia. Thank you ladies!
