Life explained: I lego NY

Legos were one of my favorite toys to play with as a kid. The engineering brain in me constantly wanted to test the laws of gravity, pushing the boundaries of lego’s building capabilities. I still remember the day my Mother sold our lego chest. I was 15 and hid my tears as a young mother carried off our wicker lego chest.  Years later, I can now appreciate the simplicity of uncomplicated lego art, as presented by Christoph Niemann. Sitting on the floor watching his boys play legos, his creative mind got the best of him and he drifted off into times past. This collection is a reflection of that cold Berlin afternoon, spent dreaming about New York City, expressed in terms of lego. Niemann is an award-winning illustrator and author of childrens books.
