What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever gotten? I remember several years ago a much older friend of mine said to me, “Never take advice from anyone you wouldn’t trade places with.” Think about that one for just a minute. That was one of the most brilliant pieces of advice I’ve ever gotten. The world is full of know-it-alls, so always remember to think for yourself.
We can all remember the bad advice we’ve received over the years. I remember my mother telling me how important it was to get good grades in school. She gave me a lot of advice about that. Looking back, all those good test scores mean nothing in the real world, so I don’t think I’ll be passing on that advice to my own son.

The person in the photographs is his great-aunt. The photographer was his sister, Lula. Aww… Chacho, your aunt looks so sweet. I wonder if she has a Twitter account. I agree with all of this advice! I’m going to forward this to anyone who asks me for social media tips.
