People’s Bucket Lists Pictured In Inspiring Photography [12 Pics]

About a month ago I wrote an article about How Much Time We Have Left In Life. According to those statistics, assuming we live an average lifetime (which is 78 years), and after we subtract the time we spend sleeping, eating, cleaning, messing around on social media (and all the other mundane things we do), we’re basically left with 9 years and 6 months to do the things that are important to us. Sound scary? I think it’s time to put together our bucket lists.

Bucket lists aren’t hard to make, but a lot of people never take the time to do one. I suppose the fact that it’s a list of things to do ‘before you die’ could make it seem a little uninspiring. Instead of thinking about it that way, think of it as all the things you want to experience while you are alive!

Your bucket list doesn’t have to be made up of only earth-shattering exciting things. The simple things in life are equally important. Amongst about 20 things on my bucket list – I have that I want to get in the Guinness Book of World Records for something (I don’t know what), I want to take a few months to travel around the world to meet all my social media friends, and I want to leave a million dollars to charity in my will.

There is a tumblr called Perfect Bucket List that showcases things off people’s bucket lists from all over the world. Each one is presented in a beautiful photograph that captures the essence and sentiment of whatever it is. I wanted to share some examples with you below. Each one of these is inspiring, and they remind us about how precious and short our time on this planet is. Hug the people you love, and keep them close to your heart.
