We all might believe that we are what keeps the world spinning, but we couldn’t be more wrong. The fact is that planet Earth would do so much better without us. That might sound pessimistic and destructive, however, by looking at the way nature operates this is the truth. Many of us have probably once or twice wondered what would happen to planet Earth if humanity suddenly disappeared. Would future generations or visitors even know we were once here?
The people over at Mind Warehouse have taken a closer look at this mind-twisting topic and put together a video. The video will take you through the first immediate hours after humanity disappeared. It continues to show us what would happen after a few days, years and beyond.
The traces of humanity are slowly wiped away thanks to nature’s persistence and patience. Sand, water, and the wind keep pounding away on our manmade structures and before long it will all come crumbling down. Our most beloved and celebrated manmade structures will slowly become one with our planet again.
It is fascinating to think that all our efforts will one day return to its original building blocks. Only building wonders like the Sphinx and the Great Pyramids of Gisa will stand the test of time.
So, before you start thinking that humanity will continue to dictate the fate of the planet, know this. Planet Earth is just patiently waiting, allowing us to use her resources to our advantage. However, once we are no longer here, she will slowly wipe out most of the traces of humanity. That is how gentle and kind our planet is. She might be resistant, yes, but nonetheless, she gives us everything we could ever need during our stay.
Have a look at the video below and marvel at the power that sand, water, and the wind continuously wield. Perhaps there have been civilizations here prior to ours. How would we know? Either way, let’s take care of our beautiful planet while we are here!
