Who says that your art is limited only to paper and canvas? I am a big fan of getting pedicures. I don’t get manicures as much since I tend to keep my nails very short to make it easier for me draw and write. When I do get my nails done, I make sure to pick polish colors that match my personality or that highlight “me”. When I was younger, I would see women put different colors on their nails, but now there are so many other ways to prep up your nails. There is no need to stick to just one color, you can add bling and 3D elements as well to create wonderful works of art on your nails.
This may seem a bit weird to some, but I find it fascinating considering the small amount of space on a fingernail that we have to work with. What is Nail Art? Nail art is a creative activity that draws pictures or designs on nails. It can express a sense of art. Since these days the whole body aesthetic is so popular, nails and toenails are regarded as important to show a point of beauty.
‘Nail Art’ began in 300 BC in the upper class of society. In 1992, ‘Nail Art’ was popularized by celebrities. There are many ways to do this ‘Nail Art’. Hand painting involves using a brush so it draws pictures directly onto the nail. Air brushing is spraying colored ink and making a gradation of color on the nail. Nail jewelry is used when you make a hole in the nail and hang jewelry. The last technique, solid design, is when you create beautiful artwork using acrylic powder.
