Social media today is so crowded that if you are not engaging you will fade from your follower’s attention. Your posts will go unnoticed, and you are left behind scratching your head. There are many ways that you can fail at social media marketing. There are also many ways that you can put it back in order again.
Failing at social media marketing can be a costly experience. Your efforts leading up to your failure can be rendered useless. That is never a good feeling. However, to avoid doing that we thought it would be better if we told you how you could fail. This should prevent you from having to make the same mistakes.

I think we have all been guilty of this one at some point in our careers. When our days get busy we tend to prioritize differently. Sometimes this means that our followers are put farther down the list than they usually are. This will make them feel ignored and failure is a fact.
The interesting thing is that social media marketing is a balancing act. If you are being too antisocial people will start turning elsewhere. Opposite to it, if you are being too talkative, people might be turning elsewhere as well.
As mentioned in the infographic, automation can be a great way to help free up time. However, leaving things entirely automated will only lead to a dead silent following. This is, of course, not a good way to make your followers interested in what you have to say.
