People often ask me, “What do you really do for a living?” I usually tell them that I work in an advertising agency. I am part of a team that does digital work for various clients. When I try to explain my work sometimes, it is still hard for them to understand. I am pretty lucky that I truly enjoy my work, and I don’t feel that I am working when I do it. Most of the stuff I work on, I consider as play. My favorite part of my work is creating applications.
Work can sometimes take so much of my time, but I am lucky that I get to work on some very cool projects. I especially enjoy it if the project involves helping to educate people about how they can contribute to help make sure people know that every action they take has an impact on our environment. We all, in our small way, can make an impact and a change.
Alter Space is a new educational environmental social game that lives on Facebook. The app allows us to enjoy and have fun with friends, and yet learn how to lower our carbon emission by creating our own world, fulfilling life tasks and avoiding disasters while searching for alternate energy sources. I have included a video to give you a sneak peek into what the game is all about. I hope you enjoy the game as much as we had fun creating it.
