When people start a blog or website, they all have one thing in common, they want to drive a lot of traffic to their website. There have been thousands of “tutorials” about how to accomplish that, and the ways have been many. But there is still one thing that beats everything else, and that is content. If you continuously add content to your website (regardless if it is submitted by users or not), even if it’s just a new blog post, it is the most effective way to attract more people.
It is easy for me to sit here and say that content is going to make your website popular. It’s not really that simple. But it all starts with content, and that’s where we’ll start this little lesson about how you can grow the traffic on your website and possibly make it popular. I can’t tell you how many times people have asked me how we made Bit Rebels as popular as it is today. My answer is always the same, and the reason for that is because there really is only one answer. With each new blog post or content added, we grow our audience. Even if it’s only by one visitor, it’s still growth.
But even though you add a new blog post to your website each day, traffic may not pick up as quickly as you want it to. What you need is a plan and a way to get the word out about your new blog post. It’s here that things become a little bit more complex than I probably make them out to be. I am sure I could write a manual about how to drive traffic to your new blog post by now, but I thought we would consult a fresh infographic instead called 12 Things To Do After You Have Written A New Blog Post, presented by Marketing Tech Blog.
This infographic is one of those really straightforward ones that pretty much hands you a bulletproof step-by-step guide (or checklist) with what you need to do after you have written a new blog post. It might not make your blog a success overnight, but it will certainly help you grow your following, influence and traffic over time. I wish I could supply you with a surefire way to make your website or blog popular, or even your new blog post a success. However, there is only one thing that will make your endeavor a success, and that is pure dedication and finesse. Try thinking outside the box when you setup your blog and its features. That is most likely going to set you apart from all the other websites and blogs.
