Cyrcle: Customize Your Online Experience With Desktop Notifications

Our online experience is an always changing form of interaction. Much of that is thanks to the continuous morphing content made available on the Internet. We all have our preferred websites that we visit on a daily basis, but it’s when we want to discover new content that things get a bit adventurous. We join all kinds of social media services to find new stuff, but we’re also flooded with stuff that we don’t really care about. It’s not that it’s in a bad way, but as it has been dubbed, it’s noise that keeps us from finding content that we really want to find. So how can we solve this? There are plenty of ways, but a recent invention wants us to use desktop notifications in order to get notified as soon as a topic we like has been shared on any of our social media networks or online.

This new desktop notifications gadget is a pretty nifty little thing that might make us more aware of the things we really like, and it will also dampen the noise that usually pollutes our discoveries on the Internet. It is called Cyrcle, and it is a product conceptualized and developed by startup company Symplio. It’s pretty basic and should appeal to a lot of people who are looking to enhance their online experience and content awareness.

Basically what this desktop notification gadget does is to notify you when something you are interested in (and have prepped the Cyrcle gadget to react upon) has been shared on any of your social media networks and so forth. It’s a powerful gadget when you look passed the simple design and sometimes basic invention. You will no longer have to keep a close eye on what is happening on all of your social media networks. Instead, you can just sit back and wait for the Cyrcle desktop notification hub to notify you when there is something waiting for you that you’re interested in. I expect us to see more of these gadgets in the future as content discovery gets ever more advanced.

The people behind Symplio are currently looking for funding for their desktop notification hub and are looking to raise $220,000 through their Kickstarter project in order to finalize their product. With 31 days to go (at the time of writing this), there is no saying whether they will actually hit their mark. However, my own humble opinion is that this desktop notification hub should be given a chance. The application areas of it are many, and with continuous development, this could be quite a convenient help in a social media maven’s and an online adventurer’s life.
