The world is full of quirky inventions and gadgets. Just because something isn’t commercially successful doesn’t mean it’s not a good invention. If you think about it, how many times have you ventured into a small shop, found a gadget you didn’t know about before, and it ended up being something you couldn’t live without? It happens every so often, and it’s just how it works. The Dog Saucer is one of those really cool inventions. It’s a motorcycle pod that enables luxury traveling with your beloved pet.
The Dog Saucer motorcycle pod is a project masterminded by Greg Hudome from Chester Springs, PA. He wanted to take his best friend, his 9-year old dog named Nova, with him when he went cruising on his bike. He decided that in order to keep the dog safe, he had to come up with a nifty solution that would make as much sense as it would be safe. The Dog Saucer motorcycle pod was born, and it is now one of the world’s coolest motorcycle accessories that you can get your hands on. It’s not cheap, but it is definitely awesome!
Greg is currently looking to crowdsource funding so he can put a spin on his factory and produce more of these wonderful motorcycle pod creations. He is looking to raise $600,000 in 56 days. Only time will tell whether or not this is possible. If you’re looking to make your bike ride a whole lot more awesome, the Dog Saucer motorcycle pod is definitely something you should have a look at.
The Dog Saucer history began in 2011, and it is now a common sight in Chester Springs. The invention is a fully Department of Transportation approved vehicle with that little extra touch to it. When you get your own, the retail price will be $6,000 a pop. You will be able to come up with your own custom paint job to further customize your motorcycle pod for your beloved pet. Now this is pet vehicle safety on the cooler side of things. There will no doubt be a whole lot more people bringing their pets with them when they take to the roads on their motorcycles this year. Well, that of course depends on whether this Kickstarter project is successfully funded or not.
