Before I get into this article, I’m going to state the obvious. If you make this bulletproof iPhone case, you could get a false sense of security from it. The only thing this metal iPhone case will do is protect your phone (and maybe your ear) if you’re talking on it when bullets are flying. So if you decide to make this because you plan to take your iPhone to a place with a potential bullet storm (I keep thinking of that scene in Transformers “left cheek, left cheek”), I would suggest some bulletproof clothing also.
This is basically a super strong metal iPhone case. It’s not pretty. As a matter of fact, from a girl’s perspective, it’s downright ugly. However, we’re not talking about aesthetics, right? We’re talking about an iPhone case that can protect your iPhone if it gets shot from a low caliber gun. Of course, that’s not the only reason you might want to make this metal iPhone case. It can also protect your iPhone from less sever injuries that might normally occur from a hammer or a fall.

There are only 5 items needed: a metal file, hacksaw, glue gun, black spray paint and a gun to test it out. All joking aside, I’m sure there may be soldiers in the world who might appreciate having this iPhone case. The directions don’t look that complicated, and this could come in handy for some people. If I were to make this though, I would definitely have to do something to make it look a little better. It definitely needs a little design attention. Just saying.
