If you are a fan of toast, raise your hand. I love toast, especially when it’s slathered in sugar and cinnamon or strawberry jelly, and of course you can’t forget the butter. But did you know that toast is increasing in popularity as a canvas for art? It’s true. If you didn’t already know that, now you can add that to the never-ending long list of completely useless, yet somewhat interesting facts that you learned here on Bit Rebels.
We’ve actually written quite a few articles about toast. My favorite one was How To Make Pac-Man Toast. Oh, and then of course there was the Toaster Made Out Of Toast. Today I’d like to share with you some more toast designs.
These aren’t quite as geeky as the ones we’ve shared before, but they sure are adorable and very creative. As it turns out, making these types of toast designs is very simple. All you need is some aluminum foil, a sharp knife and a toaster oven. Since the bread has to lay flat in the oven, the traditional toasters where you set the bread in vertically wouldn’t work well. So, for this, you’ll want to use a toaster oven or just a standard oven. If you want the design to really transfer well, you can add a thin layer of butter or mayonnaise to the bread before you start cooking it. All of these pictures came from various Japanese blogs. You can see the entire collection of pictures and get the exact directions for making your own toast art on Rocket News 24.
