More and more small business owners are running their businesses from smartphones. This trend is most likely going to increase since 74% of teenagers own a smartphone, and they treat it like a major communication hub. With all the exceptional mobile apps on the market today, it’s no surprise that what used to require a desktop computer can now be done with a device that fits in our pockets. The question is, which apps do you choose to help run your business?

Last night when I was cleaning out a drawer, I found my ‘pager’ that I used about 15 years ago. Kids born today will never know what a pager is. If we can work from a smartphone now, just think how much more advanced that will be in 15 years from now. At that point, we’ll probably be able to use them to teleport to the office, or show up as a hologram. You gotta love technology, and it’s only going to continue to get better for small business owners.
