I am a frequent visitor to the always interesting Kickstarter and IndieGoGo websites. There are always new and cool crowdfunding opportunities and kickstarter campaigns that could change the way things are done, no matter what it is. As you might have understood I am frequenting the technology sections of both of these sites, but I have to admit Kickstarter is my favorite as they seem to make the vital information available more easily.
As we are always covering IndieGoGo and Kickstarter campaigns here at Bit Rebels, we decided to team up with NowSourcing to put together a successful Kickstarter campaign guide for all of you who are looking to put together your own Kickstarter campaign. Crowdfunding is a great way to get your project funded before it is done and has helped countless startups realize their dreams. Some more successful than others of course, but they all have one thing in common if they are blessed with a successful Kickstarter campaign and that is that they are on their way to building a successful business.
Together with NowSourcing (who, by the way, is one of the premium, on the edge and leading infographic design companies around) we managed to mine Kickstarter for some vital information that could definitely help you setup a successful Kickstarter campaign.
By looking at the numbers presented in each successful and unsuccessful Kickstarter campaign, we have been able to compress it all into this infographic that we call The Road To A Great Kickstarter. I could probably sit here and go through every single statistic in this infographic, but it is all presented in our infographic so I think it would be best if you look at it yourself and see what to implement into your own crowdfunding efforts in order to secure a successful campaign.
It is of course impossible to follow the average amount if your product or product development is in need of a much higher amount in order to be realized. But there are more than these kinds of numbers in this infographic that will make your campaign a complete success.
What we can say is that there have been 51,676 successfully funded campaigns that have asked for an average amount between $1,000 and $9,999 to realize their startup. The fact that only 44% of all Kickstarter campaigns are successfully funded could be attributed to the fact that they have far more superior pitches. With a good pitch you can sell anything, that is a salesman’s must-have attitude and one that you should apply faster than you can think it – Infographic presented by Bit Rebels (design by NowSourcing).
