8 Deliciously Vintage Star Wars Travel Posters

See, I haven’t had a vacation in like 8-9 years now, and I am really starting to crave one. It’s not like I have ever felt it necessary to have one since I love what I do for a living. It’s just that when everyone keeps telling me what a nice time they had in Vegas, Dubai or any other place they visited on their vacation, I get this kind of lame feeling since I have no come back to that. Sure, I have traveled the world while doing what I do, but it’s always work, never just relaxation or play. Don’t get me wrong though, I wouldn’t want to change what I do for a second. However, it usually hits me that it sure would be cool to find a different kind of travel agency.

I think I have found one. It’s a vintage retro one that might just be able to fill that void I feel about this whole vacation agenda. It’s called “Rocket Tours” and is Steve Thomas awesome blog about his artwork. It’s the kind of travel agency you could just browse around in and find new places pretty much every single day. What’s fun about it is that you never know what you will get.

Jokes aside, it’s all about the brilliant artwork of Mr. Thomas. He recently showcased 8 travel posters created around the Star Wars concept and let me tell you, they are awesome. You can almost feel the energy in the thrusters when they start revving before takeoff. The fact that it has that vintage feel makes me feel even more like the “Rocketeer” (for you who saw my tweet the other day about my new haircut it will all make sense). If I didn’t know better, I could easily become the top collector of everything posters, I am sure. However, the one thing that keeps these things from happening (which probably is a good thing) is the space on the walls around here and the obvious mountains of cash needed. For now I will enjoy it, and perfectly do so, on my little desktop. PS: Isn’t that just like buying a Tamagotchi instead of a real dog? #ERR!
