4 Houses Of Hogwarts Inspired Fantasy Fashion Designs

If you are a fan of Harry Potter and couture style, you are going to love these fabulous fashion designs. This is a collection of four dresses inspired by the four houses of Hogwarts. As you can see, there is a lot of emphasis put on each house’s mascot, which is where the inspiration for each design came from. Which one is your favorite? Gryffindor is without a doubt mine, and I would love to have that dress made for a special occasion.

These are obviously not real dresses, and I think that is actually part of the appeal. The entire design itself, with the mascots included, add to the magical feel of each one. These were created by deviantART user ~DistantDream (aka Cavalyn).

This collection of fashion designs is her first project after graduation, and she must be so excited that it’s getting a lot of Internet love. To refresh your memory about the four houses of Hogwarts, there’s Gryffindor which is the lion, Hufflepuff which is the Badger, Ravenclaw which is the Eagle, and Slytherin which is the serpent. She incorporated the colors of each design into the dresses and the background flawlessly. If you would like to see more of Cavalyn’s geeky art, you can visit her deviantART page or like her on Facebook.

Those are more casual fashion designs for everyday, unlike these Harry Potter evening dresses. I wonder what it would take for a real clothing manufacturer to make these. For now, we’ll just have to enjoy the pictures and dream. I predict that someday, someone will make something like this on a 3D printer and wear it (sooner rather than later). Hey, it’s not that far-fetched! I’ve already written about a beautiful 3D printed wearable bikini. Besides, printing it would probably be easier than sewing it. #justsayin
