As I’ve written many times before, I’ve never seen a Harry Potter movie or read any of the books. I don’t have to. I spend my life online, and I’m bombarded with Harry Potter on the Internet day in and day out. It’s the only series of movies I feel like I’ve watched over and over, although I’ve never seen them once.
We’ve featured Harry Potter in a lot of our articles here on Bit Rebels. There are too many to list, but my two favorite ones are the Evolution of the Warner Bros. Logo in Harry Potter and Harry Potter vs. Star Wars: The Similarities Are Striking.
Many artists are inspired by Harry Potter; and it seems like there are Harry Potter inspired creations everywhere. It’s almost getting boring seeing so much of it; however, these designs below are so well done and truly special. Next Movie teamed up with Old Red Jalopy to create a series of illustrations reimagining the Harry Potter characters as rock stars. After all, in some people’s minds, they are like rock stars. Seeing Ron as David Bowie is so creepy cool, and of course, U2’s classic The Joshua Tree album cover redesigned with these characters is epic.
