Have Dinner On A Luxury Flight Without Leaving The Ground

We’ve written about themed restaurants so many times on Bit Rebels because they are fascinating and fun. Whether they are fetish restaurants that make your every dream come true or just plain weird, they are usually very interesting from a visual perspective because we just aren’t used to seeing that kind of thing. For example, seeing the people eat out of toilets in The Modern Toilet Restaurant is definitely enough to grab your attention. Just the other day, Stephanie wrote about Clinic, a bar that serves drinks through an IV drip. Even Richard has ventured into the land of themed restaurants when he wrote about a whole collection of them in The Freakiest Places You Have Ever Seen.

This themed restaurant is yet another example of a place I’d love to see in person. It’s an airplane themed restaurant where you feel like you are on a luxury flight as you have dinner. There is only one major difference, well besides the fact it’s not on a real plane. That is, the food on this flight is exceptional. It’s not the typical bag of pretzels we normally get on flights.

This airplane restaurant is inspired by an A380 and is located in Chongqing. Everything about it is designed to be like the real plane, including the windows, cabin lighting, overhead bins and seats. The oval shaped seating area you see in the pictures below are the most expensive seats on this luxury plane… err… in this restaurant. Many times lovers book that table so they have a little bit more privacy. The servers at this restaurant look and dress like real flight attendants, and they’ve all been trained so they can act like them too. Whoa! I want to have dinner here!
