If Photoshop Was Our Favorite Beauty Product IRL

With as fast as technology is moving forward, doesn’t it seem silly that us women still go through our daily beauty regimen every morning and night in the same way that our grandmothers did? I mean, if we can connect with all our friends around the world in an instant on our smartphones and download apps that let us do things that previously were only possible with the use of heavy equipment, doesn’t it seem like we would have an easier way to put on our makeup each day other than by standing in front of the mirror and doing it manually? What if Photoshop was our favorite beauty product?

Eventually I’m sure a more modern way to put on makeup will evolve, and it will probably be a way that is much more advanced than Photoshop, but since Photoshop seems to be the touch-up tool of choice at the moment, let’s pretend that is our newest beauty product. Instead of using products we buy at the store, we could simply hit a button on our Photoshop, and it would instantly touch-up our faces and give us exactly the look we want. How cool would that be? We would have the entire Photoshop color palette to choose from. What if Photoshop could even change our hairstyles too? There would be no more stressing over a zit or a bad hair day. Just hit a button and poof…perfection appears.

Imaginative photographer and designer Flora Borsi took this fun little concept which we’ve all probably thought about at one point or another and made it a reality in this creative set of images. This is what it would look like if Photoshop was our favorite beauty product IRL. Now that I think about it, for some women (like supermodels), Photoshop is probably already their favorite beauty product. My great-grandchildren will most likely ask me, “Grandma, what did you use back in the old days to get rid of acne when you didn’t have software?” And I’ll say, “We had to do it the old fashioned way, with soap and water.”
