The Most Inspiring Wine Cellar Design Ever

I am completely in awe when I look at this incredible wine cellar design. The blue LED lights, the shape, and the way it’s incorporated into the rest of the house is truly spectacular. The world got a glimpse of this design when the house at 1224 Waterstone Boulevard in Franklin, Tennessee (near Nashville) went on the market about a month ago. The asking price is over 6 million dollars, and this one-of-a-kind wine cellar design is definitely my favorite part of the whole house (it has 7 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms).

The current owner of this home and the designer of this stunning wine cellar is interior designer Jamie Beckwith. According to Realtor.com, Jamie said, “My designs are not born from trying to be different, or to create something that is not in the marketplace, but my designs are based on artistic freedom, a passion if you will.”

This wine cellar design is an original of hers, and it is meticulously positioned beneath a glass-bottomed sitting room so it’s viewable from more than one level of the house. The design itself is made mostly from acrylic and shaped like an arch. The blue LED lights bring the whole thing to life, and there is a Gothic feel to it all. You may be wondering how many bottles of wine would fit in this thing. The number is 2,000! I love the glass-bottom sitting room above the wine cellar too. Not only does it create a whole romantic, eclectic and creative ambiance, but if anyone spills anything, the cleanup would be super easy (carpeting in that room would be so boring). This wine cellar design definitely goes in my book as the most inspiring one I’ve ever seen!
