Logo Design: The 4 Types Of Inspiration [Infographic]

I have to admit that I am not a professional logo design artist, but there are still things that will inspire every designer to cross over into fields which they are not usually comfortable playing around in. There are of course silent rules and guidelines that you could follow while coming up with your next logo design, and the end result will always depend on your ability to express the core message you want the brand to express. No one ever said logo design was easy, and it sometimes takes a lot of trial and error and a lot of designs in order to reach a result that is both professional looking and creative enough to stand out in the huge sea of logos.

Standing out as a brand is of course one of the most important elements in any logo, and in order to make that happen, you have to spend a lot of time researching the competition and learning about the tools at your disposal. When I say tools, I don’t mean the features available in Photoshop, or whatever other software you are using, but rather the different aspects of design possibilities you have to make your design stand out.

In order to capture creativity in a logo design, many times you must use features that seem unconventional to step off the traditional platform of design. These could include everything from transparency and gradients to different shapes. In a fresh infographic from Sothink Media, we get exposed to the 4 types of inspiration when it comes to logo design. Sometimes you need a different perspective in order to get inspired, and that is exactly what this infographic tries to deliver.

Through this infographic, you will be able to tickle your design senses and get some much needed inspiration if you find yourself in a dry spot where the only creative ideas seem to involve getting another cup of coffee. Remember, even though your first couple of designs might not be up to your standard, they help guide you on your path to the perfect logo design. So never feel time spent on a crappy design is a waste of time because it is necessary to develop your idea and perfect your skills every time. Just like the infographic title says, Get Logo Design Inspiration From Logo Style, you will be able to broaden your creative horizon with just a few suggestions. Keep these suggestions close to your core idea and develop them into your own, and you will never again find yourself in creative stress.
