Ya’ll are going to think I’m really strange when I tell you this, but I’ve never seen a Harry Potter movie. The reason why is really quite simple. Since I’m on the Internet all day every day, and since every time one of those movies comes out there is a flood of posts about it, I feel like I’ve already seen them all. Do I actually have to watch the movies to get into the Harry Potter spirit? I guess all the die hard Potterheads would say yes.
Either way, here we go again. Since the final movie is released this week, the Internet is buzzing with everything Harry Potter. As you know, I have a soft spot for cake, so I just couldn’t let this one go by without sharing it with you. Last month right before the third Transformers movie was released, I wrote about the 2,000-pound Bumblebee Vanilla Cake. I didn’t really think I would see a movie cake that could top that any time soon. However, this Harry Potter cake is super fabulous also.
Charm City Cakes created this monstrosity complete with special effects for the after party of the New York premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, which took place a few nights ago. For all of you who are excited about seeing this movie, I put a little something special below for you. As a tribute to the end of the Harry Potter movies, Warner Bros. created this 5-minute video, which runs through all the films in the franchise. It’s kinda neat to see it all compressed into 5 minutes. Enjoy!
