The First Ever Drawing Of Batman’s Nemesis – The Joker

It is one of the highest grossing movies of all time. Batman – The Dark Night was a huge success and maybe it was due to the untimely death of Heath Ledger. In that movie, Heath made a legendary performance as the Joker that we will forever remember. There have been many different Jokers throughout the movie’s history, and it might lead you to wonder where the Joker originally came from.

The fact is that Jerry Robinson, the creator of Batman, Robin and the Joker, drew Batman’s arch enemy and nemesis back in 1940. Jerry was only 18 years old at the time the Joker was created. Little did he know that the character would take the top spot in the history of villains.

Jerry, who is now 88 and happily watches his creation grow and grow each day, actually let us in on the first drawing of the only true villain. The simple and truly mindblowing impact the drawing had speaks for itself really. I mean, once again it’s proven that simplicity is everything when it comes to concepts and ideas. So without further ado, here is the first ever drawing of Batman’s nemesis – The Joker.
