We’ve featured a lot of artists on Bit Rebels, but I think this guy might get the award for being the geekiest one of all. Paul Flannery, from London, created this mural below using only HTML and CSS. When I first saw this, I was sure that it was really a painting. I thought he probably used special software. However, I verified with @Minervity that it is definitely real.
He even created a page with instructions in case you want to make your own CSS Mural. If you would like to learn more about Paul, you can check out his fabulous Flickr collection, and of course, you can follow him on Twitter. Very nice Paul! This is the coolest thing I’ve seen all day for sure!
