Here we go again. Designer Xiang Pan recently created the next “intellectual person’s game.” Great. This is yet another game to make us regular people feel dumb. I get confused even reading the directions for how this is to be played; however, it looks fascinating, so I wanted to share it with you. Oh, and did I mention, it’s created for blind people!
This is a Rubik concept, but it’s obviously not a cube. It is based on the ancient Chinese game of Huarong. If the classic Rubik’s cube requires us to match colors, this game challenges the sense of touch through different textures and shapes. I’ve played other games designed for the blind by turning the lights off. With this one; however, I think I better leave the lights on. You can see how this is played in the pictures below.
