Hunger Games Inspired Jewelry

The “movie of the year” opens in theatres this Friday. While I haven’t actually read The Hunger Games, I’ve certainly heard enough about the series to want to see the movie. I know that it has something to do with a competition in post-apocalyptic earth where the last person standing wins.

It reminds me of Steven King’s The Long Walk, which I thoroughly enjoyed 20-odd years ago, so I am intrigued. I am lucky enough to have a seat at the premiere event on Thursday night, and I’m really excited to see what all the hype is about.

It got me to thinking. Will this movie really be as big as Twilight and Harry Potter? If it is going to be that big, there must be a whole industry of swag and homemade swag out there that I haven’t encountered yet. So, to save you some time, I did a little google search for Hunger Games jewelry and here’s what I found…an amazing assortment! All of these things came from Etsy.com, so that means if you see something you like, you can head right on over there to grab it for yourself. And now I’m REALLY curious about what else I can find in realm of The Hunger Games!
